This project presents the works by an Armenian composer David Sakoyan. It includes a catalogue of his works, as well as some recordings and some information about his music. The idea is to collect all about his work on a single platform in order to make this music available for everybody who is interested. The catalogue shows all the composed pieces, including those with no recordings yet. But it is regularly updated with new recordings.
The Home page presents the recent events at the website. The playlist shows the new recordings added to the collection. The lower part of the page shows the recent blog entries.
The Catalogue section is a list of works. It is equipped with filtering and search tools, which helps to select items by year, category, recordings availavility or keywords. Most of the pieces included in the catalogue were written after 1990, as David Sakoyan dismissed most of his earlier works. If a piece has a detailed desctiption, several recordings or some details not presented on the catalogue page, this piece has its own page where all these can be found.
The Biography provides a brief review of David Sakoyan's work and his evolution as a composer.
The Blog is a blog indeed, its entries may contain anouncements, articles and all kinds of texts related to the projects.
The project also provides machine access to its data via API in case somebody wants to use it this way. A detailed description of this API is in the Open Data section.
